Ideazione
28 years of energy, creativity, and passion. With her the future interprets classical furniture conferring them new customised identities. Because everyone is valuable.
Furniture and lamps combined with fine wood, precious finishings, soft fabrics, and a very particular tactility, make the environment warmer. The 2018 furnishings are made to be touched by hands and also by eyes (see table Pantera Lucchese article 010). They are not neutral presences, but instead speaking objects able to express our ideas and passions by narrating them (see Pantera Lucchese articles 040-041). This occurs, in a very evident way, through the sensual organic trend, that shows an upturn in many sectors, from the upholstered, to objects and chairs, with a formal naturalistic inspiration, therefore completely non-geometrical. Even the most classical projects are enriched by sinuous details (see Pantera Lucchese article 030) pleasant to touch. This is possible thanks to the use of leather, marble, brass, burnished metals, as well as special finishings on different items, which are processed with the utmost skill thus allowing to apply “tailored” details characterised by frequent and original combination of materials, to different types of furniture (see Pantera Lucchese article 080).
Nowadays, there is an undeniable return to classic. The re-editions trend is more and more diffused and shared. We search for old pieces of furniture, study and propose them again with a new look. Apart from the evident nostalgic feeling, and an exceptional elegance of design, the customers have the guarantee of an investment destined to last over the years (see Pantera Lucchese articles 052 and 050).
Apart from their aesthetics, the ancient style pieces are also appreciated for their small dimensions, typical of the past, and rejecting the contemporary “gigantism”, thus perfectly able to be adapted to the actual measures of the home environments. More in general, we can affirm that even the most skilful designers tend to reduce volumes. In fact, small objects easily become the protagonists of that so trendy cosy aesthetics that gives the right warm atmosphere to the environments and the possibility to match small pieces of furniture (see Pantera Lucchese articles 060-061-062; and Articles 070-071-072). Passing to another theme, the fantasy one is undoubtedly one of the most important current trends (see the customised interiors that Pantera Lucchese can realise).
Fabrics, carpets, and especially wallpaper are also very important; they combine African batik with 1700s prints, figures of exotic birds (see Pantera Lucchese article 020), dragons, and medieval knights, even painted on furniture and walls. There is an extremely positive common element between all these “narrative forces”; it is the use of ancient craft techniques and skills that are disappearing. In fact, the modern maximalist project approach requires great quality of details, finishings, and processing in order to recover, if possible, the ancient know how. Pantera has clearly approached these trends, and from their combination it has started to create its own trend line.
We wanted to recreate a historical piece of furniture that each of us has seen at least once in our life. The famous METTITUTTO, was usually the protagonist in the kitchens or dining rooms of our grandparents. Well, we wanted to bring it back from the new but in a current and contemporary key. The nice thing is that each of you can customize it as you want, from colors to sizes, from effects to designs or decorations of all kinds. It's up to you to give it that right touch to match your home.
